Coll’s words of wisdom.

Cancer isn’t racist
Cancer like love sees no colour
It consumes the person and it hurts
But unlike love it kills the innocent
and indiscriminately.

Some people see my walking stick as a weakness    I see it as a weapon.

Love doesn’t give a shit about your sex, race, religion.

I am not Terminal…ain’t no bus gonna stop here.

Your Identity doesn’t come from the colour of your skin, but from what is within.

A lot of single voices calling out, make a choir

    Hi Colleen
I heard your radio interview and have thought about you and your 3 children a lot since then. Can I help you in some way? I live in Sydney and just went back to work part time, I used to be a nurse then a midwife but now I’m a bookkeeper. My mum died of cancer last year. I have 28 year old twins. I did volunteer 1 day a week at Redfern land council for 6 months helping in accounts (about 5 years ago now). Maybe I could come to QLD & take you out for a walk as you said you can no longer drive, so you just walk inside, and you mentioned the kids like to go out to Chinese restaurants so I could take you all out. Or I could transfer $500 if you’re not well enough to go out at the moment. Hoping you are still home & independent. Best wishes & big hugs Sue xxx
